Good morning beautiful humans, Happy Tuesday! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or afternoon depending on where you are in the world! Welcome to Life with Lane, my life through words, pictures, and food!
As I mentioned last week, April is National Poetry month here in Orlando. I didn’t find out until last week so I am behind. So, I have been posting two poems each week that I have written over the years. This week’s feature isn’t really a poem, but I am featuring as a tribute to my sister Tasha and her late dog Maxwell.
When I wrote this very, very short story, it could only be 50 words on any topic. I chose this topic because it has just occurred and as I said before, motivation comes in many forms. Maxwell, you were quite the little dog! Here is today’s feature, The Red Robin and the Bush
THE RED ROBIN LANDED ON THE ROSE BUSH. THE BUSH HAD GROWN LARGER THAN NORMAL THIS YEAR. THE ROSES WERE RED AND FLUFFY. THE ROBIN PERCHED IN THE MIDDLE AND SEEMED TO DO A BOW. HE WAS PAYING RESPECTS TO HIS FALLEN FRIEND MAXWELL WHO WAS RESTING UNDERNEATH THE ROSEBUSH. THIS WAS NOW HIS THIRD YEAR VISITING.
Tash, I hope this didn’t make you cry. Thanks for reading my blog/short story. Let me know what you think. Follow me on Instagram @lifewithlane14 Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind!
