Good morning beautiful humans, happy Wednesday! Thank for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great bog world. Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food!
When I was in Paris we ran across his little cafe. Was a sure about the islands on the menu so I said I’ll had the frog legs mind you this isn’t the 1st time I had frog legs. I’m from Alabama and we eat pretty much anything.

However, I’m never had frog legs in Paris! So, I had to try them. In Paris com my everything is fancy and expensive. The frog legs were still fried but they came with grilled potatoes, sauteed tomatoes green peppers and onions were added. The word delicious isn’t good enough to describe the flavors that exploded in my mouth. I’m not sure what I was expecting but the food was way above my expectations. I should have known the dish would be amazing. I’ve never heard anyone say they had bed food in Paris. I kid you not when I say I licked the plate. Those were without a doubt the best frog legs I’ve ever had in my life just isn’t a joke. They were tender flavorful meaty and juicy.

When we finished eating our food there was 2 lovely ladies sitting at the table next to us in they got their plates. The food looked freaking amazing. The lady saw my face and she said would you like to try this and she gave me some of her food. I will say this again, when I was in Europe especially Paris I did not run into one rude person, they were just in a hurry. If you’ve never tried frog legs I strongly suggest trying them. And this is coming from a person that is horrified of frogs.
Thanks for reading my blog have a wonderful blessed day and always always be kind.
I don’t know if I can bring myself to eating frog legs. I catch them in my pool a lot and release them into a nearby brook.

You know, I honestly donโt remember them. Itโs been quite a few years now. I just know that I tried them and didnโt love them enough to re-try.

Yeah, no โฆ I think I tried frog legs once when I was about 8 or 9. Didn’t know what I was eating. Thought I had exorcised the memory from my mind … until now. ๐ Very curious once reading your wonderful description. Gator? Maybe.
