National Suicide Prevention Month

Good morning beautiful humans, Happy Friday! We made it to the end of the week, thank God! Welcome to Life with Lane.

I usually write about happy and uplifting things on Friday. Sorry, this Friday is different. I’m super late but this month is (was)National Suicide Prevention Month! I didn’t find out until maybe a week ago. I haven’t gotten around to finishing my post until now. I apologize but atleast I got it up.

I personally don’t know anyone who’s committed suicide but I know it happens alot. I know it’s a problem in America and we all need to pay more attention to it.

I’m sure mental health plays a role into it and we all need to be more sensitive to humans with these issues. When people reach out to you, listen. Sometimes just simply lending your ear can save a life.

Remember, it’s okay to not be okay. Its okay to ask for help. Asking for help doesn’t make you look weak. Its okay to have a bad day, everyone does. We have to remember that people’s opinions of us don’t define us. Most importantly, remember that YOU MATTER!

Thanks for reading my blog! Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind! Follow me on Instagram http://www.instagram.comlifewithlane14
