Good morning beautiful humans, happy Tuesday! Only one more day in this month, man time is flying by! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Come on in……

Life with Lane http://www.instagram.comlifewithlane14

Some years ago, I was at a hotel for work, and everywhere I looked there was water stations with lemon in them. Not sure if they had honey in them but they were everywhere. Finally I asked the front desk agent why did all of the water bins have lemon in them. She said well, that’s really good for you. I took her word for it and tried one cup. I didn’t get it, lol! However, water is already good for you so I wasn’t sure why something else needed to be added but what do I know?

Apparently, adding honey and lemon to water is really really good for you. I’m not really a fan of honey but when I don’t feel well, tea mixed with honey and lemons is delicious! It always makes me feel better so I can see how it’s good for you. I didnt know about these other benefits though. So, I wanted to share this with you guys like I always do. I hope it helps.

  1. Lemon water is a good detox/cleansing drink first thing in the morning – I’d probably find adding honey a bit too sweet. I take a teaspoon of raw Manuka honey (high strength UMF15) a couple of times a week though….apparently ( I read somewhere) adding the honey to hot water reduces it’s nutritious and remedial properties….🐝
