Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! I hope your week was filled with family, friends, great food and wine, more food, sunshine, and blessings! Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in………..
Happy Saturday after Thanksgiving! How was your holiday? Was it filled with all things great? I know this year was different because of covid-19 but its still Thanksgiving. I think because this year has been so rough people traveled to be with their loved ones. I know I did and I don’t regret it. Family is EVERYTHING! I felt good before I traveled as did my sister so there was no fear of bringing it home. Plus, my brother did temperature checks………
I had so many reasons to smile this week. My sister, Onyx, and I traveled to Alabama to be with my family for Thanksgiving. We arrived Monday early in the afternoon and we are leaving in the morning. The entire week was all smiles.
Onyx and I did a photoshoot the day after we got there. My beautiful little niece was the photographer. She always does such an amazing job. She has a bright future ahead of her in photography. However, it’ll be a hobby because she wants to be a cardiologist.
Speaking of my niece, she likes to have her picture taken just as much as I do, lol! We always do a set of photos when im home. She has the cutest face. I love taking pictures with her. We’re always all smiles.
We did a non traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday. We had a seafood feast and it was absolutely delicious. My sister Danielle cooked all of the food. We had grilled lobster tail, sautéed mussels, shrimp scampi, and grilled asparagus! Omg that food was scrumptious. My sister is such a great chef!
The world’s most beautiful human, my Mother! It’s like everytime i see her she’s prettier. Like, how is that possible? It’s insane. I had to throw in a picture of my brothers tree. He always has the prettiest tree. Looks like its from a magazine.
I got to see my sister Carley and my nephew Brantley! So much fun and my sister Carley is so much like me, it hilarious. Whenever we get to see Brantley he fits right in and it’s like he was never away from his cousins. We all had so much fun!
Although I spent so much time with my family. All of us never took a picture together as a family. My brother doesn’t like having his picture taken. My sister Tash doesn’t like her picture online, lol! Its all good though….hahaha
Thanks for reading my blog! What made you smile this week? Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind. Continue to practice social distancing, wash your hands, and don’t forget about your neighbor! #onelove
