Good morning beautiful humans, happy Tuesday! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world! Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in…….
In addition to 2020 being the year from hell, its flu season on top of coronavirus being out there. I’m a little late on writing this but better late than never. I do think flu season started a month or so ago. However, I feel like now is when it starts to get bad.
As someone that contracted the coronavirus, the last thing I want to do is get sick again. I’m not sure if my immune system is better or worse after having covid-19. I guess I’m not willing to take the chance. So, getting a flu shot has to happen for me. As a matter of fact I got one the morning after I wrote this post. I wrote my post a few weeks in advance………….
If you look at statistics, you’ll see how many people contract the flu. Its quite a few and alot of people, mostly children don’t recover. I often ask myself, if there’s a vaccination for the flu, why are so many people still dying from it? Do people not get the shot? Like, seriously what is the problem? Does anyone else wonder about this? Is there not enough access to get the shot? Is it because the shots aren’t free? Someone help me out here. Death can be prevented, so why aren’t less occurring because of the vaccination? Am I wrong?
Get a flu shot if you can and if not, make sure you take all the precautions not to get sick and keep yourself safe and healthy. Especially the ones that are in the biggest risk groups. Thank you for reading my blog. Stay safe and healthy my friends!
