Good morning beautiful humans, happy Wednesday! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world! Welcome to Life with Lane;my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in……….
I realized I haven’t written a blog about my dining out experiences in a while. So, today I thought I would get back to it. I have all these plans for blogs I want to put out each week and it rarely goes as planned. Kind of like how we try to plan our lives, lol!
Recently I went to Morton’s Steakhouse for my 40th birthday. It was a belated celebration because I was in Vegas on my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious but it always is. I wanted to share my experiences there with you guys.
No matter how many times I go to Morton’s, I always get cocktail shrimp as an appetizer. I’ve had cocktail shrimp so many times at so many different places but I think Morton’s has some of the best! Cleary there’s a reason I keep going back, lol!
My mouth is drooling just thinking about how good the lobster bisque is there. Omg, I wish I was eating this right now. I can’t remember the first time I had lobster bisque, I just know since I had it, im in love with it now. The best part is when you get a scoop that has a chunk of lobster in it. Its just yummy!
I was never a fan of scallops and then I had them at Morton’s and everything changed, lol! However, I will only eat them when my sister cooks them, at Morton’s, and when my friend Jason cooks them. Just can’t eat any old scallops, lol! The texture can get you…….so beware if you’ve never had them before!
As you can see we had quite the spread that time, lol! What can I say, I like to eat. By looking at me, you can’t tell but I really do. That lobster tail was cooked just right. Wasn’t overcooked or mushy. It was perfect and I ate all of it! Had a lemon drop shot after I ate it. Probably one of the best lemon drop shots. Actually, probably the biggest lemon drop shot I’ve had, lol!
On my recent visit for my birthday I had the bone-in ribeye and it was just mouth watering. It was a large cut to. As a matter of fact I took my leftovers to Alabama and shared it with my Momma! She thought it was just delicious, lol! I’d love to take her there. Probably will next time she visits.
I’m not really a big fan of dessert but that cheesecake was pretty good. I only had a few bites but it was very rich and tasty. I love Morton’s and I can’t wait to go back.
