2 Years Ago Today

Two years ago today I lost my sweet Dusty šŸ˜¢ Words cannot describe how my heart felt that day. It was beyond broken and shattered šŸ’” I’ve felt alot of pain in my life but the loss of my pets has been beyond any pain I’ve ever felt in my life. It’s a different kind of hurt. Only people with dogs can understand.

Dusty was such an incredible ball of happiness. He was always smiling and he was always by my side. He was such a Momma’s boy. He really showed me what love was and made me feel loved. He was such a happy pup. I know I did a good job because he was always always smiling and happy šŸ˜Š

People always commented on how he was always smiling in his pictures. He really should’ve been the face of Puppy Chow or Purina! I will miss my Dusty FOREVER! I feel happy knowing him and Onyx are together again. I will see them again one day and we’ll all go to Heaven together ā¤

  1. I’m sorry about Dusty, and more recently Onyx. I do still miss my furry children that are gone, even though I have new furry children. Each new puppy does not divide the love, it multiplies it šŸ™‚

  2. It’s a profound moment, isn’t it. I can recall each second when Roscoe left my life. I remember a scene from Steel Magnolias, and I believe that this quote is appropos:

“I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life.” – Sally Fields as M’Lynn Eatenton in Steel Magnolias.
